Quinceañeras

The ritual of the Quinceañera is a popular custom among Hispanics in which a young woman commits herself publicly to the exercise of the Catholic Faith.

Not a Sacrament

It is not a Sacrament of the Church, nor is it required for anyone to receive it. However, it is a wonderful occasion for the family and friends of the young woman to witness her personal dedication to the Christian life.
